Patching the Oracle WLS i did nearly 100 times, but I ran allways in the same error.
If you want to install WLS patches with Smart Upgrade tool bsu you'll see an OutOfMemory error. To solve that issue you have to modify the bsu.cmd and allow tha java process to use more memory with changing the values for Xms and Xmx to 1024 MB (-Xms1024m -Xmx1024m).
